Overview
Info
All entities, including user roles, hierarchies, and dependencies, are managed in the Settings app. There, you can configure and customize settings for various aspects of the platform.
Entities
Navigation in the application is facilitated through a tree navigation that hierarchically displays the entities.
The tree contains all entities (companies, subsidiaries, departments, routers, and machines) and illustrates their relationships with each other. The tree is searchable and can be individually displayed using filters.
The structure presented in the Portal app is hierarchical and consists of several levels:
Level | Description |
---|---|
Company | This is the top level of the hierarchy. A company consists of multiple subsidiaries. |
Subsidiary | A subsidiary is a part of a company. Each subsidiary consists of multiple departments. |
Department | A department is a part of a subsidiary. Each department includes multiple routers. |
Router | A router is a part of a department and communicates with multiple machines. |
Machine | A machine is the lowest level of the hierarchy and is associated with a router. |

Entity Identification
Entity symbols indicate their current status, such as the connection status of a router, through color. When you click on an entity, detailed information about the system opens in the right-hand sidebar area.
