Editing Dashboard Templates
Prerequisites
- Creating a Dashboard Template
- Access to the Settings App
Editing Dashboard Templates
- Open the Settings App
- Click on the "Dashboard" menu entry in the navigation menu.
- Click on the "Dashboard Template" sub-menu entry.
- Find the dashboard template you want to edit from the list of available templates. You will have the following operations available:

| Edit | The name of the machine template can be adjusted. |
| Archive | Not needed dashboards can be archived. |
| Global Rollout | A dashboard is created for all machines that use the same machine template as the selected dashboard template, previously created dashboards are overwritten. |
| Update Dashboard Template | The dashboard template is updated based on a selected dashboard. |
| Create Dashboard | Generates a new dashboard for a selected machine based on the dashboard template. What's the difference between this and selective rollout? Can I select any machine or only machines that have the same machine template as the one with which this dashboard template is linked? |
Edit
Clicking on the "" button opens a new dialog window for editing the dashboard template. Enter the required information and fill in the necessary fields.
Note
The Start Version and End Version have an impact on which machines a dashboard is generated for. If the machine version is not within the corresponding version range, no dashboard will be generated for that machine.

After entering your information, confirm it by clicking "Send". This updates the dashboard template with the information from the selected dashboard.
Archive
Archive a not needed dashboard template.

After selecting your options, confirm them by clicking "Send". This archives the dashboard template with the information from the selected dashboard.
Global Rollout
Perform a global rollout for all machines that use the same machine template as this dashboard template.

Update Dashboard Template
Perform an update of this dashboard template with the information from a selected dashboard.

Create Dashboard
Perform a create of this dashboard for a selected machine based on the dashboard template.
