Prerequisites


Editing of Routers

  1. Click on the entry "Router " in the navigation menu.
  2. Find and select the router you want to edit from the list. The following operations are available:
Operation Description
Edit Name, MAC address/token, location, interval, and Node-RED of the router can be adjusted.
VPN VPN settings of the router can be retrieved and edited.
Archive Routers no longer needed can be archived. When possible?

Edit

Clicking on opens a new dialog window where various settings of the router can be adjusted, including the name of the router, MAC address/token, location, and interval.

For ServiceRouter Compact routers, you can also enable or disable Node-RED functionality.

Please note that the type of router cannot be changed once it has been created. This is done for consistency and security of the router configuration.


VPN

Clicking on the symbol takes you to the VPN settings of the router, where the VPN status of the router and the timestamp of the last connection are displayed.

By clicking on the "Edit" button, you can change the IP address of the service network and the subnet mask of the service network. Additionally, a comment field is available for entering notes or additional information.

Furthermore, you have the option to activate or deactivate mobile access. This offers flexibility regarding the connectivity of the router.


Archive

Clicking on allows you to archive selected routers. Please note that you must confirm this action before it is executed. When possible?
