Machine Template Editing
Prerequisites
- Creating a Machine Template
- Access to the Settings App
Machine Template Editing
- Open the Settings App
- Click on the "Machines" entry in the navigation menu.
- Click on the "Machine Templates" sub-entry.
- Search for the machine template you want to edit from the list available. You will now have the following operations available:

| Details | Machine template details can be retrieved and edited. |
| Editing | The name of the machine template can be updated. |
| Importing | Machine templates (.csv) can be imported. |
| Exporting | The machine template can be exported as a csv file. |
Details
Clicking on will retrieve all details of the machine template. Here, you can edit any specifications that were set during Creating a Machine Template.
Additionally, the following functions are available when editing a machine template:
Versioning
By clicking the "Create new version" button in the top-right corner of the window, a new version of the machine template can be created with specifications changed from the original "Version 0". After editing the template, the new version can be published.
Creating new machines
Under "General Information" in the "Machines" tab, you can create machines based on the machine template by clicking the button.
Importing data points
After clicking the "Import data points" button in the "Data Points" section, you can import data points to be captured via the button.
