m2s
The m2s App is a centralized management tool for the VPN functionality on our platform. It allows for comprehensive management of routers, configuration of service networks, assignment of users, download of certificates, and visualization of logs.
Certificates
In this section, you can download certificates for a user's VPN connection. These certificates are necessary to ensure a secure and encrypted connection.
User Assignment
Here, you can assign users to specific routers or service networks. This enables fine-grained control over access to your network resources.
Service Network Settings
In the service network settings, you can configure parameters for your service networks. This includes defining IP address ranges, subnets, and other network-specific settings.
VPN Router IP
- Meaning: The IP address of the router within the VPN network. This IP address is used for communication within the VPN.
- Example: 10.155.163.2
VPN Port
- Meaning: The port used to establish the VPN connection. This port must be open for VPN data traffic.
- Example: 1202
Server IP in VPN Network
- Meaning: The IP address of the server within the VPN network. This address is used by the VPN server.
- Example: 10.155.163.1
Network Mask Server
- Meaning: The network mask of the server within the VPN network. It defines the size of the subnet.
- Example: 255.255.255.0
VPN DHCP Start
- Meaning: The start address of the DHCP range for the VPN. This address is the first address assigned to DHCP clients in the VPN.
- Example: 10.155.163.9
VPN DHCP End
- Meaning: The end address of the DHCP range for the VPN. This address is the last address assigned to DHCP clients in the VPN.
- Example: 10.155.163.19
IP Service Network
- Meaning: The IP address of the service network. This address is used for management and operation of the VPN service network.
- Example: 192.168.155.0
Network Mask Service Network
- Meaning: The network mask of the service network. It defines the size of the service network subnet.
- Example: 255.255.255.0
Comment
- Meaning: An optional field for adding notes or comments to the configuration.
- Example: Cloud router
VPN Connection Protocol
- Meaning: The protocol used for the VPN connection. You can choose between different protocols like TCP and UDP.
- Example: TCP
Log Level
- Meaning: The level of logging (logging) set for the VPN connection. A lower value means less detailed logs, while a higher value generates more detailed logs.
- Example: 1
MSSfix MTU
- Meaning: The maximum segment size (MTU) set for the VPN connection. This can help prevent problems with packet fragmentation.
- Example: You can enter a specific value to optimize the MTU.
Additional Service Network Settings
Mobile Access Enabled
Enables or disables access to the VPN via mobile devices.
Log Enabled
Enables or disables logging for the VPN connection.
SSL Tunnel
Enables or disables use of an SSL tunnel for the VPN connection.
Proxy
Enables or disables use of a proxy for the VPN connection.
Service Network Management
The service network management enables you to manage your service networks. You can start new service networks and set a timeframe for deactivating the service center.
Connected Users
Under "Connected Users", you can see which users are currently connected to your service networks. This allows for real-time monitoring of network access.
Log Viewer
The log viewer provides a visualization of VPN logs. You can search and filter logs to identify specific events or issues.
Connection Log
In the connection log, you can view the connection history of your VPN connections. This enables post-event analysis and monitoring of your network activities.
