Prerequisites


Creating a New User

  1. Click on the "Administration " entry in the navigation menu.
  2. Click on the "" entry under the "Benutzer" section.
  3. Click the "+ " button to create a new user.

Creating a New User

Clicking the "+ " button opens a new dialog window for creating a new user. Enter the required information and fill out the necessary fields.

Username Enter the username. jdoe
Company Select the company from the list that the user belongs to. PharmaVita Solutions GmbH
Last Name Enter the last name of the user. Doe
First Name Enter the first name of the user. John
Password Enter the password for the user. ••••••
Repeat Password Repeat the entered password to confirm. ••••••
Street Enter the street and house number where the user is located. Hauptstraße 1
Phone Number Enter the phone number of the user. +49 123 456789
Postcode Enter the postcode of the location where the user is based. 69115
City Enter the city where the user is located. Heidelberg
Country Enter the country where the user is based. Germany
Comment You can add additional information or comments about the user here. Responsible for IT
Receive Notifications Enable or disable whether the user should receive notifications. Enabled
User Role Select the role from the list that the user should have. Administrator
VPN Role Select the VPN role from the list that the user should have. VPN-User

After filling out the required information and clicking "Send", the user is created in the Settings App. The user can be edited subsequently in the Settings App.


User Roles

Each user is assigned a role that, together with their organizational affiliation, determines their access rights. The exact definition and delimitation of the individual user roles are represented in the following table.

VPN Roles

In addition to the user role, a VPN role is assigned to the user when creating. This role determines the user's access to specific networks and their connection options. The VPN role works together with the user role to enable comprehensive access management.
